Who am i

The man behind the code

I'm Dan — a web developer based in Warrington, building websites for small businesses and people who just want something that works. Seven-plus years in, and the approach hasn't changed: no jargon, no bloated process, just a site that does its job properly.

I learnt the basics of web development in college, but then took it upon myself to do online courses to expand my knowledge.

These days it's mostly Nuxt and Vue, self-hosted where it makes sense — new builds, redesigns of old or slow sites, and the odd fix that's been bugging someone for months. I build the whole thing myself, so there's no project manager in the middle who's never touched the code.
